Elise Diebold
Elise Diebold joined Davidson Meaux in 2024 following her law school graduation. She attended Louisiana State University where she earned her B.A. in 2021 and her Juris Doctor, Graduate Diploma in Comparative Law, and Graduate Certificate in Estate Planning and Taxation in 2024. She graduated from law school magna cum laude and was inducted into the Louisiana State University chapter of the Order of the Coif.
During law school, Elise was a member of the Louisiana Law Review where her comment, “’Til Death Do Us Part? Louisiana’s Inconsistent Approach to Divorce Litigation After a Decedent-Spouse’s Death,” and her blog post, “An Unconventional Obligation: The Marriage Contract in Louisiana After Wederstrandt v. Kol” were both selected for publication. Elise also completed an externship at the United States District Court for the Middle District of Louisiana for Judge Brian A. Jackson and worked as a Research Assistant for Professor Andrea Carroll.
Elise was raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. In her free time, she enjoys watching LSU games and spending time with her friends and family.
